Nashville Roots Gardening, LLC was inspired by Owner Corri Knight and her passion for connecting people to their food source. We believe every person should have easy access to affordable, fresh, healthy foods. Through education and open conversations we hope to shine a light on the lack of access to these essential foods so many of our communities face. We hope to continue to partner with local non-profits and community gardens

Meet Our Gardeners

  • Corri

    Owner/Gardener

    Corri combined her experience in agriculture with her background in Sociology & Urban Studies to create a business that promotes health education and community involvement. With over 10 years of experience working with children, she often involves them in her work and believes it’s never too early to start them on this path.

  • Cristina

    Director of Operations/Gardener

    Cristina comes from a background of Business Administration and a childhood of weeding, and other gardening chores, as punishment. The year 2020 provided an opportunity to approach gardening as a zen activity to cope with the effects of losing an event business. The loss was her gain!

  • Marki

    Lead Gardener

    Marki has been working in gardens since she was old enough to shell peas and shuck corn from her granny’s farm. From merchandising annuals at box stores to maintaining vegetable gardens in an intentional community- nothing floats her boat like watching plants grow!
